The engineering practice behind the studio.

Tatsuniya Systems builds software for clients as well as for itself. The same people, tooling and standards that go into our own titles are available for external work.

01  Capabilities

What we take on.

Focused engagements where the deliverable is working software and a team that can maintain it.

01

Product engineering

Web and mobile applications built end to end — architecture, API and data design, front-end implementation, testing and release. Suited to teams that need a product taken from specification to something real users can hold.

02

Cloud & infrastructure

Deployment pipelines, environment management, monitoring and cost control. Migrating existing systems onto infrastructure that can be rebuilt from source rather than remembered by one person.

03

Security & technical review

Reviews of application security, access control and data handling, with findings written for both engineers and the people who have to sign off on them.

04

Interactive & game development

Playable experiences, prototypes and interactive content for studios, brands and educators — drawing on the same production pipeline we use for our own titles.

05

Intellectual property

Developing, registering and licensing software, characters, worlds and brands as assets, including the agreements that let a property move between media and territories.

02  Engagement

How a project runs.

Small company, direct line. You talk to the people writing the code.

01

Scope

A short paid discovery where we agree the problem, the constraints and what "done" means, ending in a written scope and a fixed estimate.

02

Build

Delivery in reviewable increments against a shared board. Working software in a staging environment from the first iteration, not at the end.

03

Hand over

Source, infrastructure definitions and documentation transfer to you. Optional retained support afterwards, never as a condition of release.

03  Standards

Non-negotiables.

What every engagement includes, regardless of size or budget.

A

You own the code

Unless we agree otherwise in writing, all work product and its intellectual property transfer to the client on final payment, including repository history.

B

Reproducible builds

Everything runs from version control with scripted setup. No machine in the office is load-bearing and no deployment depends on one person's memory.

C

Written decisions

Architectural choices are recorded with their trade-offs, so whoever inherits the system understands why it looks the way it does.

D

Data handled properly

Personal data is collected, stored and processed in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act, 2023, with the minimum collected to do the job.

Tell us what you are building.

Send a short description of the problem and the deadline you are working to. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
